About Me

Omonike Charles-Binitie, is the Opportunities and Placement Manager for the Kunle Afolayan Film and Television Academy, in this role, she coordinates with Academy staff and local employers in the Film industry. She assists students create resumes and cover letters, find internship or externship sites, and apply for jobs in their fields.

Omonike has passion for helping adult learners enjoy their learning experiences, through the use of games and humor to drive home important lessons. She is a versatile capacity development trainer in soft skills, with experience in Consulting, People Management, Strategy Development, Change and Communications Management, and Human Resource Management.

Omonike was the Capability Development Manager in FrieslandCampina WAMCO, and in this position, she worked on creating, budgeting and implementing training plans for all levels of employees in the organization. Before joining the manufacturing sector, Monike worked in different consulting firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, (PwC), one of the big 4 consulting firms, FITC, a consulting firm focused on both private and public sectors, and Mactay, one of the oldest indigenous consulting firms in Nigeria. In her job, she was a member and leader of teams that provided Human Resource Consulting services for banks, DISCOS, NGOs and other organizations.

Monike holds a Masters and Bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communication from University of Lagos. She is a certified Thomas International People Analysis tool, certified in MBTI, among other skills assessment certifications. She is a member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, (CIPMN), and Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD).
